vicosys® certified for PROFINET CC-B

Now, image processing is even faster and even more straightforward with our vicosys^® system. In mid-September this year, the multi-camera system vicosys^® 5300 successfully completed the strict certification testing of PROFIBUS Nutzerorganisation e.V. (PNO). This means that the vicosys^® system can now offer an official PROFINET interface. Without the detour via an additional gateway, it can therefore be embedded directly in the most popular field bus in Germany industry. Thanks to this certification, vicosys^® is also approved for use with controllers in the Siemens S7-1200 series with Realtime Class A/B and with the demanding Netload Class III. For simple and easy integration in the Siemens TIA portal, Vision & Control also has dedicated GSD (General Station Description) files available for download on the product home page. With this PROFINET interface, it is optionally also possible to set up a ring topology (MRP).
