Colour-optimised from near infrared to deep blue, they enable measurements with unprecedented resolution.
Vision & Control GmbH is expanding its range of object-side telecentric measuring lenses in the vicotar® BLUE vision series with six models for a maximum object field diameter of 88 millimetres. Thanks to the parallel beam path on the object side, they image without perspective distortion. This is the only way to ensure exact measurements and positioning. The fast lenses are colour-corrected not only for the visible spectral range and near infrared, but also deep into the blue range. As a result, they work optimally with the light of blue, but also white LEDs, since the latter have a high proportion of blue light. Image examinations with blue light are characterised by maximum sharpness with maximum depth of field. With appropriate illumination, practically twice the resolution of conventional images can be achieved.
The TO88 objectives are of high resolution and low distortion. They have extremely low lateral and telecentric aberrations. They are available for cameras with sensors in the following formats: 1/3", 1/1.8", 2/3", 1", type 4/3 as well as DX. They can also be used with intermediate sizes. Depending on the size, the working distance is between 290 millimetres (6 mm field diagonal) and 100 millimetres (28 mm field diagonal). The aperture can be variably adjusted and fixed between F/8 and F/22.
Thanks to their robust design, vicotar® lenses can easily withstand the rough and tumble of everyday industrial use. The vibration-proof version with fixed aperture is also suitable for use with strong vibrations. A comprehensive range of accessories, such as illuminators, optical filters, adapter rings, beam splitters or mounting brackets complete the range.
