New telecentric lenses in the BLUE Vision range - vicotar® TO42

With the TO42 series, Vision & Control presents a new range of telecentric lenses with 42 millimetre object field diameters. Thanks to special colour correction, they can be optimally used from near infrared to deep blue.

Product group 3 Lenses of the vicotar® TO42 series

Our customers now have further telecentric lenses of the BLUE Vision family at their disposal - a series with 42 millimetre object field diameter in a robust industrial design. Thanks to the parallel beam path on the object side, they image without perspective distortions. Only in this way are exact measurements and position determinations possible.

As with all members of the BLUE Vision family, the colour correction of the TO42 series not only spans the visible spectral range to the near infrared. It also works deep into the blue spectral range. With appropriate object illumination with blue LEDs, practically twice the resolution is possible compared to conventional images. Since white light-emitting diodes have a high proportion of blue light, the BLUE-Vision lenses are also excellently suited for working with white light.

The vicotar® TO42 series consists of three object telecentric lenses with field diagonals of 16 millimetres, 21.4 millimetres and 23.3 millimetres. The working distance is 120 millimetres for the smaller diameters and 100 millimetres for the larger. With the variable lockable aperture, resolution and depth of field can be optimally adjusted between F/8 and F/22 for every application. For particularly rough use, the vicotar® BLUE-Vision lenses are also available in a vibration-resistant version with a fixed aperture. In addition to the familiar CS-/C-Mount connections, an M42 connection is also available for use with high-tech cameras with particularly large sensors and a high resolution. A comprehensive range of illuminators and accessories, such as various attachment filters or beam splitters, deflection mirrors and adapters, make them fit for any application in industrial image processing.

The TO42 series lenses are available immediately, with a delivery time of approximately two weeks from receipt of order.
