The liquid lens technology, in combination with components from Vision & Control, enables entirely new applications. Vision & Control relies on advanced modules from the well-established manufacturer OptoTune.

For magnifying lenses, the LiquidLens module is positioned between the lens and the camera. Vision & Control allows direct control via the camera’s IO connector for specific camera manufacturers. This makes the system suitable for robotic applications, where conventional setups require additional cable connections to the controller. In our configuration, only a short cable is needed between the lens and the camera. The vicosys® image processing system can control the lens module directly via vicosys commands through the camera.
