Our new vicosys® 6100 multi-camera system weighs just 800 grams and is barely bigger than a thick paperback book.
With its compact design, it is the handiest member of the successful vicosys® series. Whether optical positioning, quality control, thermographic monitoring or complex inline inspection processes - the new multi-camera system starts where conventional smart cameras reach their limits.
Up to 16 cameras can be connected simultaneously, including thermographic and SWIR models. Over 300 industrial camera models from leading suppliers such as Allied Vision, FLIR, Basler and IDS are supported by the system.
Intel's powerful Atom® x6425RE processor, combined with eight GB of RAM and a 32 GB Compact Flash card, ensures efficient and stable processing of image data. Despite this, the device does not require a fan and is therefore very low-maintenance.
In typical operation, this multi-camera system requires just 21 watts of electrical power, which can rise to a maximum of 47 watts. Its Linux-based operating system guarantees secure and stable operation around the clock.
With the graphical software platform vcwin, even complex image processing tasks can be created intuitively and efficiently without in-depth programming knowledge.
Eight digital inputs and outputs, two RS232 interfaces and a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port, four USB 3.2 ports and one USB 2.0 port are available for connection to existing processes.
External monitors are controlled via two DisplayPort 1.2 outputs with a resolution of up to 4,096 x 2,160 pixels at 60 hertz. Developed for harsh industrial environments, this multi-camera system can be used over a wide temperature range, from 10 °C to 50 °C. As it meets the requirements of protection class IP20 and operates with safety extra-low voltage (SELV), it complies with the highest safety and quality standards.
