As one of the leading manufacturers of telecentric lighting, Vision & Control is consistently developing its vicolux® series. The TZB48 marks the next generation leap “Made in Germany”: more power, higher optical precision, and a more thermally robust design – while reducing the size.
Optimized optics for maximum precision
The revised optical design delivers:
- Increased telecentric homogeneity across the entire measuring field
- More consistent radiation density for reproducible contour and edge measurements
- Two 24V classes and a UDC for flash operation for specific applications in measurement technology and for transparent materials
The telecentric light exit area with a diameter of 48 mm is designed so that existing imaging chains can continue to be operated without modification.
More compact, thermally stable, and durable
The TZB48 is 50 mm shorter than its predecessor, making it easier to integrate into compact machines and inspection systems. Newly developed heat conduction structures in the housing ensure more stable operating temperatures, lower LED stress, and a significantly longer service life in continuous operation.
Easy replacement – fully compatible
The mechanics and electrical interfaces have been designed so that the TZB48 can be seamlessly integrated into existing systems with TZB51. Control is still via all common vicolux® controllers. High-performance LEDs with narrow binning selection ensure minimal spectral deviations – an advantage for color-critical inspection tasks.
