As an OEM supplier, optics expert Vision & Control GmbH solves such problems - with customized lenses for the highest demands.
The specific adaptations from Vision & Control enable precise imaging with minimal effort. In addition to higher optical quality, they offer further advantages over standard solutions: They optimize the installation space and enable time-saving processes, especially for inline inspections, for example as part of quality control.
Examples of Vision & Control products include customized lenses with a low depth of field and high numerical aperture (NA) - they make it possible to focus precisely on critical elements of the objects to be inspected, thereby highlighting them in the field of view. In this way, hidden details that are important for quality control can be made visible - with laser support if necessary. For applications that require precise detection of surface structures, Vision & Control offers magnifying double Gaussian lenses with an NA value of more than 0.1.
The multi-aperture lenses from Vision & Control combine several image modes in one system. Equipped with high-resolution VIS sensors, polarization sensors and short-wave infrared (SWIR) sensors such as the IMX990, these lenses are ideal for applications where several different image modes are required. This saves time and space in the production process.
Another example of sophisticated optical solutions from our company are multi-measurement or split-field lenses. This technology makes it possible to divide an image into specific points of interest (POI) and thus inspect several areas simultaneously. For this type of specific application, Vision & Control offers its vicosys multi-camera system, which can control up to 8 cameras thanks to lightning-fast image processing and can pass the result on to the system control just as quickly thanks to certified interfaces.
For special applications, such as industrial process control, we have entocentric lenses with integrated coaxial illumination in our range. These make it possible to track laser applications precisely using a dichroic mirror and ensure focused laser guidance and therefore optimum imaging.
We also offer special solutions for illumination in the SWIR (short wave infrared) and NIR (near infrared) spectral range, which enable material identification through spectral imaging. They make use of the fact that materials reflect light across the electromagnetic spectrum to varying degrees. This effect is used in semiconductor inspection, for example. For applications in the SWIR range, Vision & Control also develops telecentric lenses that do not require refocusing at different wavelengths. Such lenses are used in applications that require particularly high precision and transmission.
Our telecentric wide-field lenses are ideal for inspecting larger objects. Thanks to Fresnel technology, they weigh less and cost less than conventional lenses with a large diameter. Compact wide-field lenses for line scan cameras can be provided according to customer specifications.
