VISION 2010: quality of trade fair contacts at Vision & Control confirms economic recovery

One year after the crisis, the image processing sector has regained its former strength. In line with the prognoses of the VDMA (German Engineering Federation), image processing specialists Vision & Control were able to draw a positive conclusion from their trade fair presence at VISION 2010 in Stuttgart. "The quality of the trade fair contacts in particular allows us to look towards the future with optimism," says Managing Director Dr. Jürgen Geffe, reflecting on the trade fair.

Newly introduced at VISION 2010: the measurement functions of the camat® image processing sensor. The particular innovation is that dimension testing is now also possible in this class of vision systems. Measurement tools on the new camat® user interface impress with their intuition and efficiency. The functions introduced comprise the measurement of distances, diameters and angles.

Furthermore the new Ethernet communication and process interface for the camat® vision system was introduced. It allows simple and efficient integration of image processing sensors into the process environment with immediate effect.

With the marketing of the new LLL7 series bar lights, Vision & Control is particularly targeting line camera users who require very bright line lighting. In combination with rod lenses, the lights achieve an illuminance of 130,000 lux. A special optical design ensures optimum lighting homogeneity (> 90 %) and maximum light yield at the same time.
