Cameras for vicosys®

The selection of the most suitable cameras depends mainly on the task to be solved.

To meet the requirements Vision & Control has integrated a wide range of cameras with different features.

Cameras with different technologies e.g. area- or linescan, CCD or CMOS, Rolling or Global Shutter as well as different resolutions and frame rates, can be operated in parallel.

The repertoire consists of FireWire and GigE-Vision cameras.

IEEE 1394 (FireWire) cameras

  • IEEE 1394a up to 400 Mbits/s
  • IEEE 1394b up to 800 Mbits/s
  • Topologies: star, Daisychain und mixed
  • no separate power supply needed

  • high bandwidth: up to 1000 Mbits/s
  • high distances: up to 100 metre
  • low-priced, flexible and rugged cable
