Flexible and individual – the pictor® family

 

Our intelligent cameras are based on years of development and production experience as well as numerous realised image processing solutions. This experience is reflected in the device concept of the new pictor® family.

Designed for flexible use in the industrial environment, the device concept allows individual combination with vicotar® lenses and vicolux® lighting by Vision & Control. The special modular construction allows a wide range of user scenarios to be realised. Users can therefore meet the demands of a large number of different industrial image processing requirements and tasks in the simplest way possible.

The new control concept

 

pictor®C series devices are parameterised using vcwin®smart. In doing so, users are lead directly through an established parameterisation process and achieve a simple, functioning program without taking any detours.
pictor®M series and pictor®T series devices are configured with vcwin®pro software. This allows you to also create your own test processes, such as program jumps and sub-programs, as well as loops and jumps.
Both software types have a simulator which can be used to conduct hardware-independent tests in advance. Subsequently importing a simulator-created test program into the system can be conducted without any problems .

pictor®T series

In addition to their suitability for industrial applications the pictor®T series features integrated field buses. These allow real-time communication without external peripheries. The software is based on the principle of the pictor®M series, which also allows high-end applications to be designed without programming knowledge.

pictor®M series intelligent cameras are perfectly suited to flexible use in solving complex image processing tasks. The software allows you to realise jumps and loops in the data flow without programming knowledge.

Stand-alone solutions

The pictor® family has short transmission paths and low image acquisition times. This allows even shorter cycles to be realised. Direct connection of periphery
devices via Ethernet, RS232 and digital I/Os allows near real-time reaction to events. As well as standard cameras, IP67 solutions are also available for use in sensitive areas.

Our all-in-one devices

combine perfectly coordinated optics, lighting and image processing units. Variable inspection, testing and measurement
functions as well as intuitive operation, parameterisation and test routine setting allow highly efficient use in almost all applications.
