Telecentric lenses

Telecentric lenses depict objects without perspective distortion. The image scale remains constant when the working distance (the distance to the object) is changed.
This allows precise measurement of three-dimensional objects.

Telecentric measurement lenses

Description

  • Image scale from 0.07 to 0.7-fold magnification
  • Object field between 6.6 x 4.9 mm² and 100 x 75 mm²
  • Maximum image sensor diagonal/line 1.2" (= 21.4 mm)
  • Lens with long and short working distance for the same object field
  • Adjustable aperture allows adaptation of resolution and depth of field
  • Particularly precise in combination with telecentric lighting

Usage

  • Measurement and inspection of objects and specific test features, which
    •   are located in different positions from the camera (semiconductor industry  location of pins)
    •   cannot be positioned precisely due to vibrations (automotive industry)
  • Exact position determination of fiducial markers, print registration marks, crop marks and reference edges (packaging, printing, solar industry)
  • ompleteness check of deep parts with bore holes, openings etc.

Telecentric widefield lenses

Description

  • Image scale from 0.03 to 0.08-fold magnification
  • Object field between 77 x 58 mm² and 360 x 230 mm²
  • Maximum image sensor diagonal/line 1" (= 16 mm)
  • Low weight with extremely large object field
  • Most effective in combination with monochromatic lighting

Usage

  • Inspection and completeness check of large, deep parts
  • Inspection of catalytic converters and heat exchangers (automobile industry)
