FIT FOR THE FUTURE: COMPLETION OF THE NEW VISION & CONTROL DEVELOPMENT AND COMPETENCE CENTRE IN SUHL

The Vision & Control team took over its new development and competence centre in Suhl and started business operations at the end of November. The new head office gives image-processing specialist Vision & Control the means to continue asserting its technology leadership in the field of high-quality components for industrial image processing in future, enabling it to respond quickly to customer wishes with its standard component system and individually tailored OEM products.

The 2,000 m² floor area of the new Vision & Control Development and Competence Centre can accommodate up to 80 employees in future. “With the completion of our new head office, we have created room for future growth and will be able to serve our customers even better with innovative products related to industrial image processing,” says Dr. Juegen Geffe, Managing Director of Vision & Control.

It took only 8 months to build the centre with its ultra-modern office workplaces, clean-room area to ensure high-quality production of all components and laboratories to test systems, lighting and optics during the development phase and conduct preliminary investigations of application queries. The new building provides ideal preconditions for the optimal development, manufacture and sale of innovative industrial image-processing products.
